The Neapolitan Novels are one of my favourite series!
Following the lives of two girls growing up in Naples, Italy in the 1950s, the reader is privy to their friendship, rivalries and secrets.
Ferrante's writing is so authentic and intimate, you feel like you are friends with Elena and Lila. What a rich, powerful and immersive story!
