2013 Age Good Food Under $30 Best Meals in Melbourne for Under $30

For any eatery to be included in The Age Good Food Under $30, the bill must be $30 a head or less, for two courses, not including drinks. While Good Food Under $30 Awards are given for extra-special eateries, every entry in the guide has been rated with either one, two or three stars, based on the food, value, ambience and service. In addition, places serving exceptionally good coffee are flagged with a coffee cup symbol.

This is Simone Egger's 13th year working on Cheap Eats (Good Food Under $30), her third as co-editor. Simone is also on the production team of Good Food Guide, and writes about food for the Age. She has authored a number of books about Melbourne, including the Slow Guide to Melbourne (Affirm Press) and the Melbourne City Guide (Lonely Planet Publications). Nina Rousseau has been eating professionally for a living for over 10 years. This is her seventh year as editor of The Age Cheap Eats (Good Food Under $30) and she is weekly columnist for The Age Epicure.
